Versión Árabe de El Imán y el Pastor fue Lanzada en Egipto

Una serie de proyecciones y debates significativos se llevaron a cabo en Egipto, del 27 de mayo al 5 de junio, marcando así el lanzamiento en el país de la versión árabe del premiado documental El Imán y el Pastor. El lanzamiento coincidió con la visita del Presidente Barack Obama a Egipto y su histórico discurso en la Universidad del Cairo, sobre las relaciones entre los Estados Unidos y el Mundo Musulmán. The Imam and the Pastor in Arabic Launched in Egypt

A series of significant screenings and debates took place in Egypt, 27 May – 5 June, to mark the launch in the country of the Arabic version of the award-winning documentary film The Imam and the Pastor. The launch coincided with President Barack Obama’s visit to Egypt and his historic keynote speech at Cairo University on the relationship between the United States and the Muslim World. Launch of the Arabic Version of the Documentary Film 'The Imam and the Pastor'

The Arabic version of the award winning documentary film The Imam and the Pastor was launched in Lebanon on 27th March under the slogan ‘Together in service of sustainable Reconciliation’. Imad Karam, who works with For the Love of Tomorrow films in the UK, reports.

The Imam and the Pastor Screened Inside British Prison

Twenty young men, all ‘doing time’ at Her Majesty’s Young Offenders Institute, Rochester, walked quietly into the multi-faith room and sat down in front of a TV screen. Ten Muslims and ten Christians had been selected by the prison’s chaplaincy team to watch The Imam and the Pastor. Five members of the chaplaincy team also attended the screening.

L’Imam et le Pasteur – Ottawa, January 23, 2009

The first public screening of the French language version of the Imam & the Pastor in Ottawa took place at Saint Paul University on Friday, January 23. The event was a collaboration between the Conflict Studies program of the university and Initiatives of Change.

The panel consisted of Philothée Kigeme from Burundi, a student in Conflict Studies, Oscar Gasana, a federal civil servant, graduate from the Masters in conflict studies program, former President of the Rwandan community association, and Abdourahman Kahin, psychologist, originally from Djibouti, who represented Muslim Presence.
